Intracorp Enhances Its Preferred Care Network PHILADELPHIA, April 28, 2008 — Intracorp today announced enhancements to its Preferred Care Network that will provide customers with up to a 40 percent increase in network penetration and up to 50 percent in savings. The network offering is designed to improve savings while maintaining the choice, flexibility and access that Intracorp’s customers desire. “Our analysis shows that we can continue to offer flexibility to our customers without negatively impacting provider coverage or savings or increasing access fees,” said Mark Farrell, president of Intracorp . “In fact, with our Preferred Care Network, we can continue to offer our best-in-class network product and improve upon our coverage and savings for our customers.” These recent enhancements are the result of the company’s ongoing effort to continuously evaluate all network options available in the market in order to meet the needs and demands of its customers. Currently, Intracorp’s Preferred Care Network is comprised of national, regional and specialty networks that include over 800,000 providers who specialize in treating occupational injuries. “Intracorp’s philosophy has always been that no single network can provide the depth and breadth of coverage necessary while also maintaining the market-required flexibility to adapt to new opportunities,” said Farrell. “Our Preferred Care Network was formed with a solid foundation that we can easily build upon as the needs of our customers evolve, which allows us to provide our customers with the choice and flexibility they deserve.” # # # |
