ARCHIE ANDERSON NAMED PRESIDENT OF INTRACORP DISABILITY MANAGEMENT PHILADELPHIA, August 5, 2005— CIGNA Group Insurance today announced the appointment of Archie Anderson as president of Intracorp Disability Management, reporting to CIGNA Group Insurance President Gregory H. Wolf. Anderson most recently served as senior vice president for sales, marketing and product development for GENEX Services, Inc. a subsidiary of UnumProvident, Corporation. He succeeds Ken Ross, who retired in May. In his new role with CIGNA, Anderson will have primary responsibility for the profitability and growth of the disability management business, setting strategy and leading all functional areas including operations, field and telephonic case management, fee management, marketing, sales and administration. Intracorp provides case management and medical cost containment services for more than 20,000 customers nationwide. "Archie is a seasoned industry professional with a long track record of proven results,” says Wolf. “His keen understanding of our customers’ needs and his strong leadership skills will make him a much valued addition to the Intracorp and CIGNA management teams.” Anderson is a graduate of the Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, LA, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s in Counseling and Higher Education Administration.
