California WC SB 899 — The State of California is the midst of dramatic changes to its workers' compensation legislation. SB 899 encompasses the sweeping reform that was promised by Governor Schwarzeneggar last fall. The Governor has estimated that the new legislation will reduce workers' comp premiums by 25% to 30%.
